Nairobi — Western Kenya travellers have gained a spice up after Skyward Express Airline offered Nairobi-Kakamega flight direction.

The flight will go away from Wilson Airport to Kakamega at 10AM and go back again to the Capital City at 11:05AM.

Opening of the brand new hall gives the airline an enormous marketplace base in Counties equivalent to Kakamega, Vihiga, Busia, amongst others.

While flagging off the primary industrial flight, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua stated the Government will toughen the native airline business.

He stated leaders from Western area have been inquiring for the flights to the city for an established and that it had taken just a week for the federal government to actualize it.

Less than per week in the past, President William Ruto commissioned the newly rehabilitated Kakamega Airstrip, providing massive alternatives for native carriers.

“This new policy of continuous engagement is what is going to make things move in this country. The leaders of Western Kenya have been asking for this for many years but were not given an ear,” stated the DP, who used to be accompanied by way of Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen and leaders from Western area.

“This is happening less than a week after the President listened to them,” the DP stated.

Transport CS stated the brand new flight direction indicated the rustic’s financial enlargement regardless of earlier demanding situations.

“Transport is a supportive sector and we will continue to provide the necessary support to investors in this industry. This country is going to witness tremendous change under the President and the Deputy President’s leadership,” stated Murkomen.
