The Pentecost Social Services (Pentsos) of the Church of Pentecost has equipped a mechanised borehole water device for the Kpalworgu group in the Wa East District of the Upper West Region.

The GH¢50, 000 water facility which used to be estimated to serve with regards to 2,000 citizens of the com-mumity and its environs has been prolonged to the well being centre, the group college, the city and the Fulani segment of the com-munity. The Kpalworgu com-munity falls beneath the Bulenga District of the Wa Area of the Church of Pentecost.

Speaking at a brief rite to fee the power and hand it over to the commu-nity, the Pentsos Director, Elder Richard Amaning expressed that the power used to be in reaction to a request through the group all over the consult with of the Home and Urban Mission (HUM) group to the com-munity about 3 years in the past.

He discussed that the man-date of Pentsos used to be enshrined in the imaginative and prescient 2023 of the church and sought to turn out to be society during the provision of social infrastructure and different interven-tions that may inure to the over-all construction of the rustic.

“The role of Pentsos include expanding access to education through sponsorships, building health and educational facilities and empowering the youth with livelihood interventions for job creation”, he enumerated.

He prayed the group to maintain the power and inspired individuals of the water committee that used to be later inaugu-rated on the match, to take just right care of the mission.

The Coordinator for HUM, Apostle Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo, in a brief exaltation admonished the indigenes to save some water and maintain the power.
